School Hours During School Terms (Monday to Friday)
1) Operation Hours: 7.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
2) Curriculum Hours: 7.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
During School Holidays : Monday to Friday

Attendance and Punctuality
- Primary School education is compulsory.
- Students who arrive at school after 7.30 a.m. will be considered late for school and will face disciplinary consequences.
- Students who are absent from school must be supported with either a medical certificate or a letter from the parent / guardian.
- Students should not take leave of absence during term time to travel abroad without valid reasons. The school will have to be informed in writing and permission must be granted by the school.
Home Address & Contact Numbers
- Please notify the school at once of any change of home address or contact numbers. In the event of an emergency, the school should be able to contact a relative of each student. Please provide the school with these contact numbers.
Security in the School
- For the safety of our students, we appeal to parents not to remain in the school while your children are having lessons. No parent/visitors should go to the classrooms directly. All visitors have to report at the Security Post/gates first.
- The gates shall remain closed during school hours.
Road Safety
- Students and parents/guardians are to take note of the safety rules while crossing the roads or walking along on footpaths.
- Teachers are present to ensure that road safety rules are observed.
- Vehicles entering the school compound must adhere to traffic rules and follow the instructions of the wardens.
- Parents who wish to pick their children after school should park their cars at the HDB carparks near the school and not obstruct traffic.
- Parents are advised not to park/wait outside the school gates.
Dismissal
- Parents are to take note of the dismissal times and come punctually to take their children home.
- Parents waiting to take their children home should wait at the Waiting Area.
Early Departure
- Students are not allowed to leave the school during school hours unless permission is given by the school. They must be accompanied by an adult.
- Parents are to sign out at the General Office when taking their child home. Early departure of students is strongly discouraged.
Grooming
- Only plain white canvas school shoes and white socks are permitted. The socks must be above the ankle and not folded back. Coloured track shoes are only allowed for official sports activities and for students with medical reasons.
- Only plain black or dark blue sweater is to be worn should there be a need to.
- Jewellery, cosmetics or non-clear contact lenses must not be worn to school.
- Perming, dyeing and highlighting of hair is not allowed. Outlandish hairstyle are strictly forbidden.
- Nails should be kept short and clean. Nail varnish or henna is not allowed.
- Girls who have their ears pierced should only use 1 simple stud for each ear.

School Transfer
Ad-hoc transfer exercises are conducted between schools throughout the year. The receiving school will produce a Letter of Acceptance to the Parent/ Guardian, to be submitted to the sending school for transfer of pupil’s documents.
The Parent/ Guardian will contact the sending school via phone/ school email for the school to prepare the documents for transfer. An appointment will be made with the Parent/ Guardian to go to the sending school and collect the documents when ready.
The Ministry of Education also conducts an annual transfer exercise (STEPS) for Primary 1 pupils with change in address. These pupils will be transfered to the new school the following year. The exercise is usually conducted between October and November each year.
