Our Department Vision

Towards Passion and Excellence in Mathematics

In line with our school vision, the Mathematics Department aims to create a vibrant learning environment that inculcates the joy of learning Mathematics in every child. We believe that every JPS student can and wants to learn Mathematics. As such, we provide our students with varied learning experiences in our YouM.A.T.H! @JPS programme (You Make Amazing Things Happen! @JPS

Through our YouM.A.T.H! @JPS programme, we hope to enable our students to:

(i) Acquire mathematical concepts and skills for everyday use

(ii) Build confidence and foster interest in the subject

(iii) Progress at their own pace and pursue their strengths.
